Azienda Stella

The Stella agricultural-livestock company, owned by the spouses Stella Briganti and Giuseppe Pedone, is located in Manduria on the provincial road. Manduria-Francavilla F.na, extends over a total area of ​​approximately 100 hectares. It is made up of two stables used respectively for the housing of sheep, goats and cows: in total it has around a thousand heads of livestock and, adjacent to the breeding area, there is a brand new 500m2 structure which includes a dairy laboratory, a dairy products shop , with butcher's department and administrative offices. About 30 quintals of cow's and sheep's and goat's milk are processed every day in the laboratory, as the Stella company boasts 5 proprietary sales points located in the territory of Manduria, Sava and San Pietro in Bevagna, as well as supplying around 20 points of sale linked to the Dok and Famila groups, in the areas of Taranto, Brindisi and the provinces. Over 20 varieties of cheese and dairy products are produced: mozzarella, scamorza, burrata, cacioricotta, sweet and mature cheeses. All the rest of the estate's surface is used for olive cultivation, as well as cereals, fodder and alfalfa for the free grazing of its animals, all strictly organic.
